I dislike the Alto, I have a SX90, and did not care at all for the Soprano's. The 62 can be pretty bright depending on your disposition and the era of the sax. The 82Z is a darker sound than the 62 and blows a lot freer than the SX90. All 3 are good, usable saxes and solid for learning on. There was, however, an all brass (keys, too) tenor sax with a SELMER SIGNET logo, in a classic early 1960's blue sparkle Tolex wooden case with navy blue leather binding and red interior. It seems, though, that someone had put this much-more-recent Signet into a much older case.
